SUPER RUGBY WEEK 6
Lions v Crusaders
The Lions are coming off a bye this week and take on an ever improving Crusaders outfit. Both teams sit 7th and 8th respectively on the table, however both already having had a bye.
The Crusaders have won the last two matches between the two sides with an away win by 21 points in 2014 and a 28 point thrashing in last years game. The Crusaders defence will again have to be strong this week, but I think they're up for it. Having already played one game in South Africa they should be settled and well over the jet lag. The Crusaders had a nice battle against the Sharks last week overcoming the home town favourites by 5 points in a tight contest.
I think the Crusaders will be too strong for the Lions once again, I don't think it'll be a thrashing like the last two games played between the two sides but am confident of a Crusaders victory. Pick - 4 Units Crusaders -1.5 points line
Kings v Sunwolves
The two new teams in the Super Rugby competition face off for the first time. Both teams 17th and 18th on the table and more than likely both teams will finish in these two positions at the end of the season.
The Sunwolves played a great game last weekend against the Bulls with the scoreline a little bit flattering with a late try to the Sunwolves to only lose by 3 points at home. The Kings were once again trounced but covered the starting line easily going down to the Hurricanes 42-20.
Both teams will want to win this one and get their campaign started. The Kings are letting up an average of 50 points a game, while the Sunwolves have been relatively good on defence in comparison with only 30 points a game.
With no previous form to go on between the two teams, I have to go with my gut here. I marked this game Kings a 4.5 point underdog. The Market has gone up almost the opposite so I have to go with the Sunwolves in this one. Pick - 4 Units Sunwolves +3.5 or better points line
