NBL WEEK 3
PERTH v MELBOURNE
Week 3 kicked off with a Kevin Lisch-less Sydney Kings getting decimated by the NZ Breakers. The 8 week injury looks like it’s going to cost the Kings dearly as they were a shell of the squad they were when he was suiting up last week. Andrew gaze might be looking for another employer if things don’t improve dramatically and quickly.
Heading over to Perth where the game of the week will take place. Perth Wildcats host Melbourne United in a match that will no doubt give us a better indication of where the title will be heading. Casey Prather has overcome a late injury scare to travel and face his former club and I think they’ll be a huge chance to get something out of this game.
Melbourne United are a class above the majority of these NBL squads and the only team that have shown that they can compete are the Wildcats. Bryce Cotton and Damian Martin will be the driving force and they’ll be
the only hurdles standing in the way of MU making it three straight wins in a row.
As mentioned I think Melbourne are terrific value at 2.25 to win the match outright. If they come out and win like they should, then you won’t see 2.25 being offered for them again.
