MELBOURNE STORMING TOWARDS PREMIERSHIP
MELBOURNE Storm is the shortest price premiership favourite with TAB at this stage of the season since 2008.
The Storm are currently $2.25 to lift the trophy and were $2 after round 22 in 2008, when they went on to lose 40-0 to Manly in the Grand Final.
“It’s hard to believe that the Storm were $8 to win the premiership when the market first opened – they have been firming ever since,” TAB’s Kristen Fahd said.
Brisbane was the big mover on the weekend after their huge win over Gold Coast, with the Broncos shortening from $11 to $7.50.
$34 North Queensland
$81 St-George Illawarra
