BIG BET ON PANTHERS PREMIERSHIP

A TAB punter has placed $12,000 this morning on Penrith to win the premiership for a potential collect of $204,000.

The Panthers firmed from $21 to $17 after their eight-point victory over the Bulldogs on Thursday night.

“After a roller coaster start to the season where they started as equal $7.50 favourites with Melbourne, the Panthers now sit just outside the eight,” TAB’s Kristen Fahd said.

“They've now won their fourth straight match and finals footy is in reaching distance for the Mountain Men.”

Meanwhile, Suliasi Vunivalu is into $3 to be top try scorer after he crossed the line for the 15th time yesterday, with Alex Johnston $3.25.
