NRL: Penrith back in favour

PENRITH has firmed from $21 into $17 with TAB to claim the premiership after winning their first match of the season as underdog against the Warriors on Friday night.

“It’s hard to believe after round one Penrith was equal premiership favourites with Melbourne, but those punters are now back throwing their support behind the Panthers, who sit just outside the top eight,” TAB’s Kristen Fahd said.

Gold Coast were the other team to cause an upset over the weekend, with the Titans shortening from $7 to $5 to make the finals.

Cronulla continues to be the hardest team of the season to read, losing their fifth match of the season when they have been favourite. odds
