DRAGONS A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH
ST GEORGE Illawarra were $101 to win the Premiership at the start of the season and are now into $21 after winning three of their four opening matches.
The Dragons have recorded victories over the Penrith Panthers (42-10), Cronulla Sharks (16-10) and the New Zealand Warriors (26-12), with their only loss coming at the hands of the Parramatta Eels in Round Two.
“The Dragons have come out all guns blazing and I think they have shocked a lot of people with convincing wins over some of the top teams in the competition,” TAB’s Jaimee Rogers says.
“I think most people had the Dragons as the team to record the most losses at the end of the season but it seems as though they might be far from it this year.”
The Dragons ($1.90) are up against a struggling Tigers ($1.90) outfit this weekend at ANZ Stadium on Sunday afternoon (4pm AEDT).
