SUPER RUGBY WEEK 4
Bulls v Sharks
The Bulls with home advantage face off against a powerful Sharks team in Round 4 of Super Rugby. The Bulls are coming off a bye while the Sharks had a spirited victory over the Stormers last weekend.
The Bulls have won 5 of the last 6 games between the two sides, all victories being 8 points or less. While the Sharks sole victory over the Bulls in the last 6 games was a more convincing 15 point victory in 2014.
I wasn't overly excited with what the Bulls had to offer this year but they looked incredible against the Rebels in Round 2 and this victory has since swayed my thoughts on how they may perform for the remainder of the year. I thought they would struggle without a first choice five eighth but have now look to be ok under the guidance of Brummer.
The Bulls will be pumped for this game and I think the home ground advantage and the history between the two sides over recent years leans in their favour.
Sunwolves v Rebels
Everyones 2nd favourite team in the competition this year the Sunwolves played an impressive game against the Cheetahs last week. The Cheetahs had to overcome an 18 point deficit to come back to beat the Sunwolves. The Rebels on the other hand have already done a lot of travelling, over to South Africa, back to Australia and now a trip to Japan.
Jack Debreczeni continues to develop into a great pivot and representative honours cannot be too far away if he continues to play the way he is. Debreczeni kept the Rebels in the game last week when they beat the Rebels by a sole two points. He racked up an impressive 20 points with some excellent goal kicking.
The Rebels should win this won and i'm pretty confident they can beat the handicap too.
Crusaders v Kings
This will be a bloodbath. The Kings travelling to New Zealand this weekend and the Crusaders at home equals a thrashing.
These two teams have only played once back in 2013 where the Crusaders easily disposed of the Kings 55-20 at home. The Kings looked woeful once again last week as the Chiefs, away from home, belted them. As mentioned last week the Kings will be the kids team in this years competition, they may struggle to win one game all season.
The Crusaders are always powerful at home and this will be no different. I expect the Points total to be quite high so if their is anything around the 60 point mark or less, I'd be backing the overs.
