SCOTLAND v ENGLAND
The Six Nations kicks off this weekend with a couple of mouth-watering fixtures to get things started.
Scotland, coming off a fantastic Rugby World Cup campaign play host to Eddie Jones' new look England team at a sold out Murrayfield for the Calcutta Cup. England have won the previous six encounters against Scotland and will want to kick of their six nations campaign in style to quieten the critics following their dismal World Cup efforts.
Traditionally this game is a low scoring affair, particularly when Scotland play host. The long range forecast for Saturday is for showers and a decent wind so expect a pretty dour forward orientated clash, with both number 10s looking for field position throughout the match.
With the weather not meant to be pretty and both teams wanting to prove themselves early on in the six nations I expect this game to be very close with a penalty or two the difference. Eddie Jones being the master coach that he is will have his troops ready for this clash and I think England will muscle this one out in a close affair.
