Meet Galimberti the
gambler. I'm starting to think that Italian's like a flutter more than
Aussie's - or perhaps it's just their tennis players. The ATP found that
he "wagered 401 times on 1,796 tennis matches between June 2003 and
January 2006". |

On the eve of the
Australian Open, a couple of serious developments in the Davydenko
investigation. Firstly, that there is a 15-day deadline for Davydenko's
coach and wife to hand over phone records (should give them enough time
to have them changed). And secondly, an allegation from Davydenko's
lawyer about the involvement of ATP physiotherapist Christiaan Swier.
But at OnThePunt, we love this quote from Mr Vassallo Arguello: "I don't
think the investigation is going to show that Davydenko was involved in
anything... I was on the court with him, and... everything that happened
on the court seemed very normal to me." Oh my goodness. |
